GET INVOLVED
SO YOU WANT TO KNOW HOW TO GET I
SO YOU WANT TO KNOW HOW TO GET INVOLVED?
You
already joined FTC Communities, bugged your friends and got them to join,
created a profile, chat in our chatrooms and maybe even bought a T-shirt.
What else can you do?
Sign up for our newsletter
To get the latest information on events, hosting and moderating openings as
well as upcoming competitions, follow the progress of our projects, and read
the occasional off-topic tidbit, make sure you have activated the newsletter
option in your account settings. You will receive a monthly newsletter
informing you of current projects, calls for help, links and news. We do not
share lists with anyone and you can unsubscribe at anytime by following the
instructions at the bottom of the newsletter.
Become Network Staff
FTC Communities posts staff opportunities in our newsletter on a regular
basis. In some cases we're looking for help with a specific project, in
other cases we're putting a call out for help on behalf of a member.

Spread the word
You can e-mail, link to our website, use word of mouth and contact all the
friends you know who might be interested.
What do you get out of this?
First off you are part of a growing grassroots community of like
minded people, who have the ability to speak freely and make friends who may
well last a lifetime. Some members of our community are in need of moral
support or simply want suggestions from those who have been through what
they're feeling. Helping others can be one of the most rewarding
experiences, especially when you help someone with a life changing or life
defining issue! Alternatively, maybe you could use a friendly shoulder
to lean on once in a while. Regardless, that's the most important
thing you get from becoming involved in your FTC Community, the knowledge
that you have a huge family there who need your support and are always
willing to offer you theirs!
