click on the SuperChat Enter link shown below.

2. Select a room.
A. Choose a room from the Room List (Chat Room List)
B. Join A Room from a specific Room Name.
C. Create your Own Room.

3. Using the Room List Option
A. In this example we are choosing test_room2 by
clicking on the room name link.

4. Downloading the FTC Chat Control

If
you have not previously chatted on our network, or
we have upgraded our chat control since the last
time you visited, you will see a download screen
that looks like this one. Until the Chat Control
software has completed installing, you will not see
the FTC Circles on the bottom right side of the
page. Throughout the download you may see a security
box that certifies that the Chat Control being
downloaded is from Fun Teen Chat Networks and is
safe for installation. Please click YES to authorize
the download to continue. Once you see the FTC
Circles, click the words beneath them that say “I
See the FTC Circles!” to proceed to the the room
join selection method.
5. Joining The Room
A. While you are logging onto our network you will
receive the message: Please wait, Connecting to FTC
Chat Server…
B. When you have Connected to our network, you will
see the red word: Connected
C. When you actually join the room, an IP warning
notice will appear, as well as any room Topic or
Onjoin Messages.

6. Specifying a known room name.

A.
Insert the exact name of a room you want to enter
and click the Join button. For example test_room2.
7. Create your own room.

A. Room Name
B. Your FTC room is registered to you, which
protects it from others. Select a password that you
can use to maintain your room. If your nickname is
not already registered, it will be registered using
your password and FTC listed email address at the
time your room is created.
C. Insert the topic of your choice. You may change
that topic at any time using the /topic <new topic>
command.
D. Insert any Onjoin welcome message you wish your
chatters to see at the time of entry.
E. If you want to prevent the use of profane
language in your room, simply place a check in the
Profanity Filter box.
F. You MUST accept the FTC Terms of Behavior, Terms
of use and Software Use Agreements.
G.
When you have completed the Create A Room form,
simply click the Create Room button and your new
room will be created using the information you have
supplied.
8. Header features

Most
of the commonly used features, such as More Rooms,
Create Room, Join A Room, Find A Friend, Chatroom
Options, and the list of Emoticons are easily
accessed from all FTC Chat Room headers.
9. Chatroom Options

The
chatroom options are self explanatory and accessed
through the Chatroom header link marked “Chatroom
Options.”
10. More Rooms
The More Rooms link brings up our network room list.
Unlike other webchats, such as MSN, the FTC
SuperChat can be in as many rooms as you please at
the same time, with only one instance of the Chat
Control and your browser. If you click on another
room name without closing out the current chatroom
connection, you will be able to chat in both rooms
at the same time. In fact, you can join as many
rooms at the same time as you please.
11. Create Room
The in-room Create Room feature permits you to
Create A Room without leaving your current room.
This feature is exactly the same as using the Create
Room option at the initial log in.
12. Join A Room
This feature is also the same as the Join A Room
available at initial log in, and merely permits you
to join another room using the specific room name,
rather than finding it on the room list.
13. Find A Friend

If
you want to find a friend on anywhere on the FTC
Network, just insert the first few letters of the
user’s nick and press find. In this example we have
inserted just the word Admin.
14. Join a Friend or Invite A Friend

In the
above example, simply inserting the word Admin
resulted in two nicks being located. You can either
click on a room that user is in to join them, or
click on the INVITE option, which will send a
private invite message to that user.
15. Using the Buddy List and Favorites

A.
Highlight any users nick and select Add To Buddy
List
B. From inside any room, you can add that room to
the your Favorites list for easy access.
C. From our homepages, you can simply log in and
click on a favorite room located under Favorites, or
see which of your Buddies are on our network, and
click on their nick to join them in any room they
are in. The green icon represents an online user,
and the red icon represents an offline user.
