Uninstalling the MSN Toolbar that Conflicts with SuperChat

Do NOT try to uninstall it from Add/Remove programs as that method of removal does not remove all program files and leaves the crucial file that conflicts with SuperChat.  If you have already tried to uninstall it from Add/Remove programs, reinstall the Toolbar and use the following method to remove it.

   1.  You will see the Toolbar just below the URL address bar as shown below.  Click on the small downward triangular arrow just to the right of the MSN Logo.  That will drop down a menu.  Select Uninstall from that menu.

  2.  Next, you will see a page that has a button marked Uninstall in the bottom right hand corner.  Click that button.

   3.  A popup box like the one pictured below.  Select the radio button for Close all IE windows automatically and proceed with uninstallation and click the OK button.

  4.  A final page like the one below will come up confirming that the toolbar has been successfully removed.

5.  Congratulations!  You have now ridded yourself of the MSN Toolbar, and should have no further problems using SuperChat.   Rest assured that our programmers are working with MSN to fix the conflict (which was created by MSN’s programming) so you will be able to reinstall the MSN Toolbar soon.

Thank you for using FTC Chat Services, and we look forward to seeing you in our rooms once again!
