Be sure to uncheck the Toolbar option during the installation wizard.

If you already have MSN Toolbar installed, here's how to
delete the ST Folder in the MSN Toolbar that Conflicts with SuperChat

(or visit here for instructions to completely remove the MSN Toolbar)

The latest version of the MSN Toolbar has a folder that contains two files that conflict with SuperChat. The conflict can be corrected by uninstalling the entire toolbar or by simply removing the one folder that causes the conflict. This document explains how to remove the folder marked ST in the MSN Apps folder. This procedure will permit the user to retain the MSN toolbar, without the SuperChat conflict.

1. Go to the Start menu and select My Computer. Then double click on the hard drive that contains your operating system (usually the C drive) as pictured below.

2. Find and double click to open the folder marked Program Files inside your hard drive’s directory.

3. Find and double click to open the folder named MSN Apps.

4. Inside the folder named MSN Apps you will find another folder named ST. That is the folder that's causing the conflict with SuperChat.

5. That folder needs to be deleted, and doing so will not affect the way SuperChat or the Toolbar works. However, you can't delete that folder if ANY instance of Internet Explorer is open, including SuperChat.

6. After you have closed out ALL instances of Internet Explorer, right click on the ST folder and select Delete to remove the ST file.

CONGRATULATIONS! You have now removed the portion of the toolbar that causes the conflict. If you ever want to restore that folder to its original condition, you can simply reinstall the toolbar. With that folder removed the toolbar will still work and will not conflict with SuperChat.
